The site has been kept as simple as possible, and consists of 4 main screens.
1. THE HOME PAGE
Select whether you would like to see properties to buy or properties to rent.
Vodafone users only – Click the “Find Me” button and we will locate you and show you a list of the properties in the area around you.
Otherwise type in your location. You can use street and town names, area names, or post codes.
2. THE SEARCH
CRITERIA PAGE
Use this screen to refine your search criteria. This step is optional, but highly recommended, as your search could potentially return 100’s of properties.
Specify which types of properties you would like to see - houses, flats, or other (which will include land, commercial property, river boats, and so forth).
Specify your price range
Specify your search radius
Specify the minimum number of bedrooms that you are looking for.
Click “Find Properties” to launch the search
3. THE SEARCH
RESULTS PAGE
You will be shown a list of all the properties that we have found, in price descending order. We will show you a thumbnail of each property, together with the property type, price and number of bedrooms.
Please note the
following :
We will display 5 properties per page, up to a maximum of 100 properties. If your search returns more than 100 results, you should return to the search criteria page and refine your search criteria
4. THE PROPERTY
DETAILS PAGE
Click on a property in the search results page to obtain the property details. The details are fairly self explanatory, but please note the following features :
Want to see where
the property is located?
Click on the “View Map” link
Want to send a
request to the estate agent to call you back?
Click on the “Call Me Back” link.
Want to send the
property to yourself or a friend?
Click on the “Email details” link. We will include a handy clickable link back to the property on Rightmove.co.uk, so that you can easily retrieve the property once you are back at your desk.
Want to phone the
estate agent?
Just click on the estate agent’s telephone number and the number will be dialled automatically.
